Racism, Culture & Trauma: The Japanese American Internment*. A Teacher's Guide for the Children of the Camps Documentary by Satsuki Ina, Ph.D. To be used to guide discussion in the classroom as well as enhance individual study of the subject. The 48-page guide includes images from the documentary, individual and classroom exercises, and references.

The purpose of the Teacher's Guide is to:

1) Provide the social-historical context for the documentary,

2) Explore the psychological consequences of the incarceration and mitigating cultural coping mechanisms,
